Fleuret raises €4M

A pre-seed round to put AI at the heart of European offensive security.

A €4M pre-seed round

Fleuret AI, the French startup automating penetration testing with agentic AI, has closed a €4M pre-seed round led by RAISE Ventures, alongside Auriga Cyber Ventures, Wind Capital, Better Angle and leading business angels from the cybersecurity world.

The platform is built to move penetration testing from a one-off audit to continuous security, across five pillars: know the exposed systems, identify the vulnerabilities, prove they can be exploited, help fix them, and verify they are fixed.

From a one-off audit to continuous security

Companies change their systems every day while security requirements keep rising. Under NIS2 in particular, a growing number of organisations have to demonstrate how robust their security is. Yet penetration testing still rests largely on one-off audits: a snapshot of a system at a given moment, when a new deployment a few days later can already have changed its attack surface.

Emile and Champollion

Fleuret automates the pentester's work with two AI agents, Emile and Champollion. They map a company's environment, explore its applications, APIs and infrastructure, then try to exploit the vulnerabilities they find. Every finding comes with a proof of compromise that shows concretely how it can be exploited. The platform then keeps watching the attack surface and can trigger new tests as the system changes.

Beyond finding vulnerabilities, Fleuret is building the tools to see them through to resolution: prioritisation by exploitability, integration with the tools engineering teams already use, automatic re-testing, and reports that verify a vulnerability has actually been fixed.

Built for Europe

Fleuret has around ten people today and several customers, including Brevo, Stoïk and Yogosha. From the start, the ambition is European: make offensive security accessible to every company, including those that cannot afford regular penetration tests.

The round funds new hires in AI, software engineering and offensive security, and a faster build-out of the platform. Operated from Europe on European infrastructure, the agents also meet the growing sovereignty requirements of companies in the most regulated sectors.

“We do not simply want to automate penetration testing as it exists today. Our ambition is to build the offensive security layer that will keep companies secure all year round, whatever their size. This round gives us the means to accelerate that vision and to build a platform designed for enterprise environments from day one.”
Yanis Grigy, CEO and co-founder, Fleuret AI
“AI has changed the nature of cyberattacks by putting powerful tools within everyone's reach, often for free. Organisations have to test their security against every attack technique, including the newest. Fleuret built its platform to evolve continuously and stay a step ahead of attackers, with a team that puts AI to work for deep offensive expertise. We are convinced Fleuret can become the reference in offensive security in Europe.”
Thibaut Schlaeppi, Co-Head, RAISE Ventures
“Fleuret is perfectly positioned to win the European market for automated penetration testing, at a time when AI-driven attacks are growing exponentially. Their expertise in traditional pentesting, combined with a sharp understanding of the disruption AI brings, let the team turn an intuition into an AI-native startup already chosen by major digital players. I am proud to support them in this next step.”

The founding team

Yanis Grigy (CEO) and Augustin Ponsin (CTO), graduates of Télécom Paris and EPITA, have known each other since childhood. During their preparatory classes they founded a first company specialised in penetration testing. Joining the X-HEC Entrepreneurs programme, they pinned down the gap between systems that change continuously and security audits that happen once in a while.
